File and review conflicts
Everyone
Tell your stage manager when you can't be called, and see conflicts while you build the schedule.
A conflict is a time you can't be at rehearsal: a family trip, a dentist appointment, a school concert. Filing it early lets your stage manager plan around you. Only you and the show's managers can see your conflicts.
File a conflict on the web
- Open your show and choose Conflicts in the menu.
- Under Add a conflict, pick the Date.
- Set From and Until, or tick All day.
- Add a Note if it helps, like "Grandma's birthday" or "Out by 7."
- Choose Add conflict.
It's listed under Your conflicts. Plans changed? Choose Remove next to it.
File a conflict on your phone
You can add a conflict for any day:
- On the Shows tab, open your show.
- Choose My conflicts at the top, then Add a conflict.
- Pick the Date, set From and Until (or turn on All day), and add a note if you like.
- Tap Save.
Already have a call you can't make? On the Schedule tab, swipe the call to the left and tap Conflict. Can't make it opens with the call's times filled in. Change them if you're only missing part of it, then tap Save.
To remove a conflict, swipe it away on iPhone, or tap the trash can on Android.
For parents and guardians
In the phone apps, swipe left on your child's call and tap Conflict. The conflict is filed for your child, not for you.
The web Conflicts page files conflicts for the person who's signed in.
Conflicts from an audition
Listed conflicts on your audition form? When you join the show, theCallboard shows them to you and offers Add these to the show's conflicts. Tick it and they're added for you. Check them on the Conflicts page afterwards.
For stage managers: review conflicts
On the show's Conflicts page, managers also see Company conflicts: everyone's conflicts, with their name, date, time and note. You can remove one if it no longer applies.
While you build a call, theCallboard checks the times against everyone you've called. If anyone has a conflict, a Conflicts with this call box lists who and when, before you save or publish. It updates as you change the time or who's called.
In the phone apps, the call editor marks anyone with a conflict, and lists them under Conflicts.
See Build the rehearsal schedule.
